seeking representation after losing my agent due to my use of generative ai in my marketing collateral for this book (don’t worry , despite the headwinds, I am still stubbornly using ai for the production of all my things minus my actual writing, and sharing my techniques with the world!)

take a look….

This compelling narrative follows Hagar, an Egyptian-American cadet, as she struggles to carve out her identity within the contrasting worlds of American college life and the demanding structure of Army ROTC. Grappling with cultural misunderstandings, insidious prejudice, and profound personal betrayals—including a sexual assault—her journey is further complicated by the tumultuous events of the Egyptian Revolution and a constant internal voice challenging her choices. Ultimately, Hagar's story is a raw exploration of belonging, the elusive nature of home, and the sacrifices made in pursuit of a deferred dream.
